Nutrition plays an important role in the treatment and prevention of many common diseases. Nutrition department of Bahria International hospital provides advice about nutrition and diet in relation to health and illness of the patient. This service is for both ambulatory (walk-in) patients and patients in the hospital (indoor).

Nutrition department of the hospital works closely to educate, counsel and support patients who need to change their eating habits in order to improve their health condition. It gives education on how to make healthy food choices and lifestyle changes for the management and or prevention of long-term (chronic) diseases. Our approach is holistic and involves not only the patients but also their families. The goal is to guide the patient towards an optimum nutritional status and a healthier lifestyle that will benefit the patient and their entire family. A physician referral is not required for individual outpatient nutrition counseling.
