The burden of non-communicable diseases including renal diseases is sweeping the entire globe.  In the underdeveloped world, renal therapy is either unavailable or expensive and patients with renal diseases often die prematurely. In Pakistan there are only a few centers where children with kidney disease are entertained. There is dire need to develop this facility to cater this under privileged population.

The development of a de-novo program demands extensive multidisciplinary team input including suitable infrastructure, local team, availability of immune suppression, diagnostic facilities and financial support.
